Job Description

• 
  
  Support the Site Supervisor in overseeing daily on-site construction activities to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
• 
  
  Coordinate efficiently with subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to maintain workflow and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• 
  
  Enforce site safety protocols and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• 
  
  Keep detailed records of site operations, including daily reports, material deliveries, and labor attendance.
• 
  
  Assist in scheduling work activities, managing quality control, and addressing construction issues as they arise.
• 
  
  Escalate on-site concerns to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager when necessary.
• 
  
  Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work aligns with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• 
  
  Help manage site logistics, including equipment usage, material handling, and waste management.
• 
  
  Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  Diploma or certificate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 
  
  3-5 years of local Canadian high-rise residential market experience preferred in construction or a supervisory support role is preferred.
• 
  
  Solid understanding of construction practices, materials, and safety guidelines.
• 
  
  Strong organizational skills with the ability to solve problems independently.
• 
  
  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• 
  
  Familiarity with Microsoft Office and construction management software is a plus.
• 
  
  Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple job sites.
