Job description

Verdant Environmental Technologies is currently looking for warehouse workers for our facility in Ville St. Laurent. We need hardworking talent to help us assemble, pack, and ship our suite of smart thermostat hardware to our global clients.

Your Tasks:

  1. Work with import customs broker and carrier for speedy customs clearance.
  2. Receive, count, and inventorize goods with correct SKU# as per Purchase Order or online purchase. Label boxes with correct SKU# when necessary.
  3. Follow receiving procedures by providing goods to technical leader for AQL before goods are put into inventory. Date all received goods (for FIFO purpose).
  4. Document damages for claim purposes. Communicate with suppliers for shortages.
  5. Digitize and upload shipping documents as per current procedures.
  6. Identify and take corrective actions on questionable customs tariff codes.
  7. Manage tariff database including country of origin up to date.
  8. Prepare return shipping labels and communicate with customers.
  9. Update Data in Oracle and Digital Filing.
  10. Provide support to shipper as needed including shipping.
  11. Manage Shipping materials to ensure sufficient supply.
  12. Order medical and cleaning materials for production dept.
  13. Provide support to production team, as required.

  • Some warehouse experience and ability to do light assembly with tools.
  • Attention to detail and always punctual.
  • Ability to work in a growing team and company.
  • Strong English oral skills; Bilingualism is a definite asset.
