The Assistant Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Automotive Service department. They hire, train, and motivate employees to meet and exceed business and customer expectations.

What You Will Be Doing :

  • Providing exceptional customer service experience
  • Developing and maintaining a culture that values excellent customer service through training, supervision, coaching, and talent management
  • Reviewing and implementing Service Centre policies to improve customer experience and rapport
  • Developing strategies to attract and retain customers
  • Coaching team members on customer service excellence
  • Recruiting, developing, motivating, recognizing, and holding accountable the Auto Service team to meet sales and profitability targets
  • Enhancing sales and profitability of the Service Centre
  • Resolving customer and employee complaints effectively
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and workplace regulations
  • Monitoring operating budgets by tracking sales and expenses
  • Promoting safety and security procedures
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

What You Bring to the Table :

  • Grade Diploma or GED
  • Experience in the automotive service industry
  • Management experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines
  • Strong computer and leadership skills
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
