What does an Assistant Security Shift Supervisor in Calgary do?

• Review all submitted team incident reports for quality assurance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, tenants, emergency services.
• Review and export CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems.
• Provide excellent customer service to various tenants.
• Provide first aid and basic life safety in emergency situations.
• Must be able to cover a guard's shift on an as-needed basis.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations with the shift supervisor.

Qualifications required for an Assistant Security Shift Supervisor in Calgary

• 1-3 years experience in security supervision
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid Alberta Security license
• Ability to work 4/4 12-hour rotational shifts (2 days/2 nights)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills both oral and written
• Ability to follow operational security measures, protect confidential information, exercise good judgment and discretion
• Understanding of the Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act regarding powers of arrest
• Strong customer service skills, mature attitude, and professionalism
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
