Assistant Resident Services Manager
Residential Real Estate

Our client, one of Canada’s leading residential property management companies, is looking for an Assistant Resident Services Manager (APM) to join their team, under the direction of the Resident Services Manager and the Director of Investment Properties. The portfolio you will be managing is 172 units across 2 stabilized mid-rise multifamily properties in the North quadrant of Calgary. This role will be a mix of leasing duties and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be a people-person with excellent communication and organization skills who instills core values such as integrity, honesty, and customer service excellence. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full leasing cycle — from lead follow-up and tours to application screening, approvals, and lease signing.
  • Respond to inquiries follow up with prospects within 24 hours of last contact.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of suite availability, pricing, layouts, amenities, and overall portfolio.
  • Conduct market research to support pricing strategies and reduce vacancy loss.
  • Ensure suites are rent-ready through regular inspections and coordination with maintenance.
  • Support marketing efforts by keeping leasing materials current and assisting with community events and open houses.
  • Foster strong resident relationships by addressing concerns within 48 hours and promoting retention through service excellence.
  • Manage leasing-related administration including application documentation, notices, reports, and system updates (e.g., Yardi).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide general office support while ensuring compliance with tenancy laws and company standards.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of residential leasing/sales, and/or property management experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Yardi experience is an asset.
  • RECA license, ARM or CPM designation is an asset but not required.
  • 5th Class Operator’s License and reliable personal vehicle required.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Compensation:
The successful candidate will receive a base salary up to $57,000 dependent on experience, eligibility to participate in company benefit plan and opportunities for career growth.
