Reporting to the Resident Manager, our live-in Assistant Resident Manager will maintain the building(s), check the surrounding grounds daily, assist residents in a timely manner, show suites, and coordinate with contractors as needed.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Exceptional cleaning skills for common areas & vacant suites
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Sales experience is an asset
• Availability for evenings and weekends on call

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in PC skills (MS Office, email, texting); knowledge of YARDI is an asset
• Strong DIY skills
• Ability to perform minor plumbing and carpentry repairs
• Understanding of HVAC systems
• Knowledge of Fire Safety Regulations and Life Safety Systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to lift up to 15kg
• Physical ability to bend, push, pull, and navigate stairs

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Proficiency in English (second language skills are an asset)
• 2-5 years’ experience in property management or a similar role preferred
• Criminal background check required
