A leading infrastructure consulting firm is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to oversee Roadway Transportation construction projects in Ontario. Abide by and enforce construction safety rules and regulations.
Read and understand contract documents, including plans and specifications.
Complete daily inspection reports.
Prepare written reports.
Perform inspection of foundation construction (pile driving/drilling).
Complete bridge superstructure calculations utilizing four-scales.
Perform inspection of falsework placement and removal.
Perform inspection of roadway construction.
Oversee construction of wet and dry utilities.
Monitor traffic control.
Assist with inspection of large concrete pours.
Assist in the documentation of pay quantities and development of the Final Estimate.
Assure general compliance with standards and specifications.
Assure documentation, and accuracy of monthly progress payments.
Accurately track change order work.
Log and track material inspection, certification, and acceptance for the project.
Other duties as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Engineer in Training Certification required, a P.E. License (State of California) preferred but not required.
5+ years of relevant experience with the concepts and practices within the highway and bridge construction field.
Must have the ability to assist in the resolution of project issues effectively and efficiently.

T.Y. Lin International is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of$86,000 - $128,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
