Job description

We are seeking a highly energized organized and professional candidate to assist in leading our Room Reservations team at the Castle in the Rockies!

Are you an individual with a high level of attention to detail and have a gregarious personality

Are you one who is looking to grow your skills in the area of Reservations and Revenue Management within the hospitality industry whilst enjoying the breathtaking setting of the Canadian Rockies

Competitive Salary : $64000 - $65000 gross annually based on previous experience & education

Job Duties Include :

  • Oversee daily operations of the largest in-house reservations team in the NCA region (up to 19 colleagues) including scheduling payroll recruitment training and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with Sales Revenue Management Marketing PR and Operations to develop packages rates and processes while managing guestroom inventory and resolving capacity challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners including group organizers sales and conference services managers and tour operators.
  • Champion departmental initiatives such as CES engagement incentive programs team meetings and service recovery follow-up (SCORE).
  • Support the team during peak periods address guest concerns and assist other Rooms Division departments as required.

Qualifications :

Your Skills & Qualifications :

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 18-month commitment to the role
  • Strong working knowledge of Opera Property Management System (PMS)
  • Working knowledge of Central Reservations System (CRS)
  • Familiarity with Passkey / GroupMax is an asset
  • Previous experience in hotel room reservations is an asset
  • Previous leadership experience in a hotel environment is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations and reservations procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple administrative tasks and priorities
