Assistant - Quality, OPEX and IT Support
Hawkesbury, Ontario

Position Type: Temporary, Full-Time – 6-month term

Summary:

Supports the Quality Manager in daily activities related to quality, continuous improvement, and digital optimization. Assists with document management, meeting coordination, data analysis, and the use of digital tools. This temporary position is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in a manufacturing environment focused on operational excellence and digital transformation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the implementation of the ISO quality management system at the plant
  • Support the development of digital improvement initiatives
  • Assist with the updating and management of work instructions and other quality documents
  • Support the organization and facilitation of quality and continuous improvement meetings
  • Help update projects, KPI dashboards, and internal databases
  • Provide administrative, IT, and logistical support for quality initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Quality Manager

Required Profile:

  • Post-secondary diploma or relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Interest in quality, process improvement, and digital tools
  • Strong organizational skills, dynamic, motivated, and good communication abilities
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Basic proficiency in computer tools (MS Office Suite, Excel, databases, etc.)
