The shift pattern for this position is Thursday (8am to 4pm) and Friday (8am to 3.30pm). Please note that the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
Medical equipment is crucial for diagnosis and treatment in hospitals. Our Medical Equipment Management service, comprising highly trained clinical engineer technologists, manages the full lifecycle of over 55,000 medical devices across ten hospital sites, completing over 50,000 jobs annually.
We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide purchasing, stores, and reception services for our Medical Equipment Management teams at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Children. This is a permanent contract for 14.5 hours, with 7.5 hours on Thursday and 7 hours on Friday. Responsibilities include managing reception and stores, ordering parts, stock taking, booking goods and equipment, organizing uplifts, and serving as the first point of contact for visitors. Training will be provided on our management and procurement systems.
