Position Overview

The Assistant Resident Manager team is required to live on-site and work full-time, including every other weekend and on-call duties. The primary focus is to maintain a high standard of care for the property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivering exceptional customer service, general cleaning, and minor maintenance repairs.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet and interact with residents in a friendly and professional manner
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
• Attend to resident concerns and service requests within 24 hours
• Follow up to ensure high resident satisfaction
• Handle administrative tasks such as processing applications, notices, lease renewals, etc.
• Organize and execute resident events (e.g., holiday parties, summer barbecues)

General Cleaning

• Maintain cleanliness of all common areas
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Thoroughly clean vacant units, ensuring they are move-in ready
• Dust and monitor cleanliness of specific areas like fire hose cabinets and elevator tracks
• Manage waste collection and recycling in coordination with city schedules

Property Maintenance

• Assist residents with maintenance requests
• Conduct daily walkthroughs and minor repairs
• Report safety hazards or major deficiencies
• Assist in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and boiler troubleshooting
• Oversee repair activities with tradespeople and contractors

Fire Safety

• Understand fire and life safety systems
• Assist in emergency procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in professional cleaning or similar roles
• Professional appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform minor repairs; mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Good communication skills
