Job Details

Position: Property Manager Assistant (Part-Time, Flexible Schedule - at least 2 days a week)

Location: Vancouver, BC (On-site)

Description: We are the property management team of Sun Wah Centre in Vancouver Chinatown, managing a commercial building with over 70 tenants and a 3-story parking garage. We value working with non-profit organizations and contributing to local communities.

Responsibilities:
  1. Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
  2. Draft and proofread letters, emails, and lease agreements
  3. Prepare and edit invoices and receipts for tenants and customers
  4. Schedule and confirm bookings for the employer and contractors
  5. Maintain filing system and organize invoices, receipts, letters, and other documents
  6. Prepare marketing materials and promote events
  7. Work in the security room with surveillance cameras and report emergencies or break-ins
  8. Maintain company Facebook and website (occasionally)
  9. Support the property manager and team
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) and general computer applications
  • Experience with photo/video editing software (asset)
  • Administrative skills and accounting background (asset)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Language skills: English required; Cantonese/Mandarin preferred
  • Minimum 1 year property management experience (preferred)
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly wage: $18.00 - $21.00
  • Benefits include casual dress, company events, discounted or free food, flexible schedule, on-site parking
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, day shifts, no weekends (as needed on weekends)
