A prominent Canadian company located in Dartmouth is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project execution and governance within the Programs Department. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience, exceptional communication skills, and a degree in business administration or engineering. This full-time position requires an in-office presence and entails close collaboration with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
The Assistant Project Manager plays a crucial role within the Programs Department by supporting the oversight, execution and governance of various functions within the RCD Program. The role involves a blend of administrative, coordination, and management tasks aimed at ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Managers, Program Managers and other project stakeholders to maintain project alignment with organizational goals and standards.
QualificationsDue to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
