Your role

This role involves leading operational readiness, transition planning, and move management outcomes. You will facilitate service and user groups to advance our clients' strategies, project visions, and operational goals. The role spans various industries, including Healthcare, Post-Secondary, and Corporate Offices, serving clients nationwide.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and consultants. Your responsibilities include identifying, organizing, and implementing all deliverables and tasks necessary for the operational planning, activation, and occupation of facilities in a logical, timely, safe, and cost-effective manner, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and principles.

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate project requirements through User Group meetings, scheduling activities, and developing transition schedules.
  2. Collaborate with consultant teams on project documentation and implementation.
  3. Develop project documentation, tender, and procurement documents for movers and resources.
  4. Utilize software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Microsoft Project to prepare various project documents.
  5. Review standard client programs and policies.
  6. Build strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project.
  7. Support the development of operational readiness plans to ensure successful day-one operations.
  8. Manage stakeholder engagement and develop strategies for government projects.
  9. Lead project teams, develop plans, assess challenges, and mitigate risks.
  10. Manage multiple facilities and building moves, ensuring smooth operations and addressing issues onsite.
  11. Create standardized documentation for proposals, project execution, and close-out.
  12. Assist in scope development and pricing for proposals across industry sectors.
  13. Organize project teams and establish communication protocols.
  14. Ensure project documentation complies with Colliers' Quality Management System.
  15. Chair project meetings and resolve issues among stakeholders.
  16. Provide regular project status reports, including schedules, meetings, and financials.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in change management initiatives and/or client moves.
  • Experience leading change and project management within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Healthcare experience, especially in acute facilities, is an asset.
  • Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • PMP and Lean Green Belt certifications are assets.
  • Proactive with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and other software tools.
  • Customer service orientation and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and delivery models is a plus.
