Job summary

Metro Vancouver invites applications for the Assistant Project Engineer-EIT (Program Controls) role supporting the NSWWTP project. You will handle cost management, scheduling updates, invoice processing and prepare control reports.

The position requires an Engineering degree, EIT eligibility, strong analytical skills and teamwork in a major infrastructure program. Reporting to the Division Manager, Project Controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Eligibility for Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with EGBC.
• Ability to apply engineering principles to routine and complex situations.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in communicating technical information clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Support project controls through data input and cost management tooling.
• Review and process contractor invoices and track project progress.
• Assist in developing schedules, cost estimates and change management documentation.
