Qualifications

• PhD in sustainability science or related field by appointment time.
• Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching environmental remediation, restoration, waste management, and pollution.
• Teaching experience in a degree-granting program including lecture preparation and delivery.
• Ability to develop online material/lectures (including large courses).
• Commitment to pedagogical inquiry and teaching-related scholarly activities.
• Experience supervising or mentoring student research projects.
• Strong letters of reference.

Responsibilities

• Teach and manage a teaching and service load with emphasis on pedagogy.
• Contribute to introductory environmental management and science courses and sustainability certificate, including ENV100Y5 and field courses.
• Engage in undergraduate mentorship and foster an intellectual atmosphere across programs.
• Engage with students in and out of class (seminars, workshops) and assist with TA management.
