Job summary

The Department of Language Studies at the University of Toronto Mississauga invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in Education Studies in the area of STEM Education. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate Education Studies, supervise graduate students at OISE, pursue a strong research program, and contribute to service, curriculum development, and equity

Qualifications

• Evidence of excellence in research will be shown by publications in top journals or forthcoming works meeting high international standards.
• Evidence of teaching excellence will be demonstrated via teaching dossier and strong letters of reference.
• Experience supervising graduate students and contributing to curriculum development will be valued.

Responsibilities

• Teach in undergraduate Education Studies and contribute to development and support of the program.
• Supervise graduate students as part of OISE appointment.
• Maintain an active, funded research program.
• Contribute to service load including curriculum planning and student engagement.
