Job description

The Department of Physiology in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time teaching stream position in human physiology. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2025.

Qualifications and Responsibilities
  1. Applicants must have earned a PhD in Physiology or a related area by the time of appointment, with a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching.
  2. Candidates should have teaching expertise at the undergraduate level, including lecture preparation, curriculum development, course coordination, and online material development.
  3. Evidence of teaching excellence can be demonstrated through accomplishments, awards, conference presentations, teaching dossiers, and strong references.
