The expected pay (or pay range) for Assistant Professor is $9,000 - $11,000; Associate Professor is $13,000 - $16,000.

The School of Engineering at UBC's Okanagan campus invites applications for a position at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) or Associate Professor (tenure track or tenured) in Water Resources Engineering within its Civil Engineering Program. We welcome applicants with expertise in water resources, including water supply and security, hydraulics, hydrology, and climate change adaptation. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2025, or soon thereafter.
Decisions will be based on research and teaching excellence, potential for impact, and fit with the Civil Engineering Program. We aim to develop future leaders in the field.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a related civil engineering field and be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia. Responsibilities include establishing an independent research program, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising students, and participating in service activities.
