UniFirst Canada in Taber, AB is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to lead a key production team in our garment services operation. The role focuses on budgeting, facility maintenance, and safety compliance, with a view to driving departmental profitability and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree or several years of related management experience, and is prepared to work 1st shift in a full-time capacity in Canada’s Alberta region.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, or four to six years related management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet budget requirements of the department, including budget preparation and operation of department as a profit center for the company.
• Ensure timely maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the building and all its equipment.
• Ensure that the department meets all applicable safety requirements.
