About us

The trust currently comprises 11 academies, including secondary, primary, and further education, and we are set to increase this number. Our central team underpins our success by providing efficient, compliant, and forward‑thinking operations. Strengthening our central services is vital to supporting growth, and investing in procurement is central to this strategy. This role is a key part of that journey. The role will predominantly be based at our Head Office in Halifax, with some travel to academies within the trust. Please note, this is not a remote working role.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver compliant procurement processes in line with the Procurement Act 2023 and Trust policies.
  • Support end‑to‑end tendering, quotations, and framework utilisation.
  • Maintain the central Contract Register and ensure timely renewals.
  • Assist with supplier onboarding, due diligence, and GDPR compliance.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage risk across categories.
  • Identify opportunities for savings and efficiencies, including benchmarking exercises.
  • Contribute to spend analysis, reporting, and strategic planning using digital tools.
  • Provide guidance and training to budget holders.
What We’re Looking For
  • A‑level or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in procurement, tendering, or contract management.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Understanding of public sector procurement principles (or willingness to learn).
  • Desirable: CIPS Level 4 (or working towards), multi‑site experience, and knowledge of GDPR.
