Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescription requests
• Handling in-person and telephone refill requests and recording deliveries
• Understanding and promoting pharmacy programs
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
• Creating drug orders, receiving supplies, compounding, and pill pack assembly
• Scheduling professional clinical services
• Managing behind-the-counter tasks such as cycle counts, narcotic counts, stock returns, tallman lettering, and manual third-party processing
• Assisting the pharmacist with dispensary tasks within scope

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution (preferred)
• Alternatively, applicants with 2 years of retail Canadian pharmacy experience may be considered in some provinces
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
