We are hiring for an Assistant Pharmacy Manager at our Fort and Foul Bay location in Victoria, BC.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Day-to-day pharmacy dispensary operations, including receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  2. Clinical responsibilities such as drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, and counseling on prescriptions and non-prescription medications.
  3. Compounding prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring, and mixing drugs and other ingredients, then filling appropriate containers with the correct quantities.
  4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community partners.
  5. Managing inventory.
  6. Scheduling, training, and managing team members.
  7. Identifying and addressing business strengths and patient needs.
  8. Developing and implementing strategies for business growth.
  9. Enforcing policies and best practice protocols related to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.

You have:

  • A pharmacist license in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or an equivalent regulatory body.
  • An injection certification.

Compensation:

$57.00 - $60.00 per hour

The actual compensation will depend on location, education, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
