Pacific Honda is looking to expand their team with the addition of an Assistant Parts Manager.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers to exceed their expectations.
  2. Having knowledge of automotive systems.
  3. Using CDK software proficiently.
  4. Generating gross profit in the parts department through the sales of parts and accessories.
  5. Providing day-to-day support and coaching for parts staff.
  6. Assisting in managing departmental expenses to ensure a net profit each month.
  7. Maintaining a consumer relations policy regarding wholesale customer follow-up, material return, complaint handling, etc.
  8. Implementing programs to train, develop, and motivate department employees.
  9. Handling core management, manufacturer returns, and damage claims, including storage, documentation, and material returns.
  10. Maintaining an inventory storage system with bin locations, bin numbering, and tags.
  11. Ensuring dealership equipment is in effective working condition and establishing maintenance schedules.
  12. Advising management on equipment needs for the department.
  13. Maintaining shipping and receiving policies with wholesaler routes, delivery timetables, check-ins, and inspections.
