Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a physically capable team member to service portable toilets across Thunder Bay and surrounding areas. You will deliver, clean, stock, and pump sewage, prepare units for deliveries, and maintain trucks and equipment.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, weekend flexibility, and strong customer service skills. You will work outdoors for long periods and assist with grease traps or portable washroom maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Flexibility to work days and weekends.
• Familiar with Thunder Bay and surrounding areas.
• Experience with physical labour and long hours.
• Experience driving large trucks and pulling trailers.
• Must be able to back up using mirrors only.
• Trustworthy and able to work alone.
• Friendly and courteous with clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver portable toilets.
• Service portable toilets by cleaning/stocking units and pumping out sewage.
• Prepare units for weekend deliveries.
• Maintain work trucks and units.
• Interact with customers, contracts and collecting payments.
• Work outdoors for extended periods.
• Clean and maintain grease traps.
• Maintain portable washrooms and washroom trailers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Trustworthy & capable to work alone.
