Job description

The Assistant Media Buyer will work within the Investment team to help accomplish the effective delivery of buy recommendations and negotiations in broadcast and potentially digital media for assigned clients.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Enter buys into proprietary systems (MediaOcean and Prisma) and maintain broadcast buys.
  • Manage and steward campaigns ongoing.
  • Assist with client financials, including budget reconciliation and management, and resolve discrepancies with billing coordinators.
  • Maintain communication with the Client Service Team regarding buy authorizations, tracking reports, buy changes, and creative specifications.
  • Post campaigns and monitor their delivery.
  • Generate campaign reports, including pre- and post-campaign documents and Masterfiles.
  • Utilize Mediacom proprietary tools and measurement software (e.g., Numeris).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and multi-task effectively.
  • Collaborative work approach.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and mathematical competency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Motivation to develop and excel in a media career.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with flexibility.

Education and Experience :

  • Internship experience in an agency is advantageous.
  • College or university education is preferred.
