Farm Boy is seeking a Supervisory/Managerial candidate to join our team in London, Ontario. You will collaborate with the Department Manager to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence across the department.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, executing departmental strategies, managing merchandise, and ensuring safety and compliance. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays; English fluency is essential, French is an asset.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business with at least 1 year supervising or management experience.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with clear communication.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
• Comfort with manual and automated systems and various computer software programs.

Through collaborative leadership, hands‑on coaching, and daily team engagement, you’ll help build a high‑performing department where team members feel supported and customers feel welcomed. • Work closely with the Department Manager to execute departmental strategies and achieve stated goals and performance objectives.
• Support team development through training, coaching, motivation, and recognition while maintaining a high level of trust, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Lead regular team huddles to share goals, recognize achievements, exchange product knowledge, and provide meaningful feedback to build engagement and connection.
• Support daily operations by ensuring outstanding customer service, accurate merchandising and rotation, adequate staffing coverage, and consistent department cleanliness.
• Provide office and administrative support, including inventory management, ordering, invoicing, schedule maintenance, and payroll functions.
• Promote compliance with all Safe Food Handling and Health & Safety policies, procedures, and provincial regulations to maintain a safe and high‑quality shopping environment.
• Contribute to store success by assisting with other related duties as required.

• Completion of a post‑secondary program with an emphasis in business, plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment by effectively managing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of performance.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills supported by a clear, professional communication style.
• Comfort learning and using manual and automated systems, with prior experience working with a variety of computer software programs.
• Thrive in a hands‑on setting that involves extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, and work that may be performed in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
