About the role

As the Assistant Manager, you will lead and oversee the success of the Retail Sales and Customer Service teams at a Canadian Bank branch. Your focus will be on executing business strategies, initiatives, and individual goals to support the team's overall objectives.

  1. Lead and foster a customer-focused culture to strengthen client relationships.
  2. Enhance existing and new customer relationships through financial advice and excellent customer service.
  3. Coach your team for success at both individual and branch levels.
  4. Engage actively with staff, customers, and partners.
Do you have the skills to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:
  1. Experience managing people and engaging teams.
  2. Experience in personal banking.
  3. Sales management experience and ability to promote Scotiabank.
  4. Strong relationship-building skills focused on client experience and growth.
  5. A license to sell mutual funds.
  6. Completion of the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent recognized by the Bank.
  7. Educational qualification to act as an Alternate Branch Compliance Officer.
