ASSISTANT MANAGER/SENIOR EXECUTIVE, HUMAN RESOURCE (1-YEAR CONTRACT)

We are seeking a meticulous and service-oriented HR professional to join our team on a 1-year contract. This role is integral to the smooth delivery of daily HR operations and involves providing comprehensive support in areas such as recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR data maintenance and regulatory compliance.

You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative support across key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, contract administration and staff offboarding. This involves maintaining accurate employee records in both the HR system and personnel files. You will also generate HR reports and perform data analysis to support management and reporting requirements.

In addition, you will coordinate recruitment activities such as posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters and managing onboarding documentation. Compliance to HR policies, procedures and statutory regulations is key to your success in this role. You will support the implementation of HR initiatives and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Collaboration with HR colleagues will be essential to ensuring consistent and effective service delivery. Your role will further extend to include supporting broader HR initiatives, including organising events and staff engagement programmes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of comprehensive experience in Human Resource
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
  • A collaborative team player who can work independently and is aligned with the organisation’s developmental goals
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to engage confidently with staff at all levels
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and well-organised
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in HR Management Systems (HRMS) and the Microsoft Office suite; experience with Workday is a plus
  • Solid understanding of the local Employment Act and related regulations
  • A degree in any discipline, a postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management will be an advantage
