Summary: We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at Mountain Pizza & Steakhouse in Whitecourt. In this role, you will support the management team in delivering exceptional dining experiences while ensuring operational efficiency and team development.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in managing daily operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
2. Train and develop staff to maintain high standards of service and performance.
3. Oversee inventory management, including ordering.
4. Support recruitment efforts to build a strong team.
5. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
6. Assist in financial management, including cash handling and reporting.
7. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry is an asset.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Warm welcoming demeanor.

Pay:

$25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours:

No less than 32 per week
