Job description

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks:

  1. Direct and control daily operations
  2. Evaluate daily operations
  3. Plan and organize daily operations
  4. Manage staff and assign duties
  5. Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
  6. Determine merchandise and services to be sold
  7. Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
  8. Develop and implement marketing strategies
  9. Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  10. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  11. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  12. Conduct performance reviews
