Position: Full-Time Assistant Manager at Bar-V-Nook Lodge

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM & 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, 75 hours per pay period

Wage Range: $28.50 – $31.50 per hour

About Smoky Lake Foundation: A not-for-profit organization providing affordable housing and supportive living services for seniors and individuals in Smoky Lake County.

Role Overview: Support the Community Manager in leading daily operations, staff coordination, and ensuring quality services for residents. Lead departments such as administration, housekeeping, recreation, and contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead various departments and staff
  • Manage HR functions including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Participate in recruitment processes
  • Support payroll and attendance management
  • Lead health and safety initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with legislative standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in human services, business, hospitality, or HR (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience, preferably in continuing care
  • Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • Strong computer skills
  • First Aid and CPR (must obtain within 3 months of hire)
