Assistant Manager, Reservations & Royal Service

Providing engaging, sincere, personalized service is one of the ways our Reservations & Royal Service colleagues are turning moments into memories for our guests. This newly curated leadership role is intended to drive business results by finding and developing efficiencies resulting in an elevated guest experience.

Salary Range: $62,000 - $67,000 gross annually, based on previous experience and education.

Job Duties Include:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Reservations & Royal Service department and ensure all service standards are followed.
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the following departments: Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Concierge, Engineering and In Room Dining.
  • Maintain accurate records of all guest and employee requests.
  • Ensure proper staffing and scheduling including recruitment for the Reservations & Royal Service Department.
  • Develop and manage the performance of the Reservations & Royal Service Colleagues.
  • Manage and coordinate all group and individual reservations.
  • Maximize revenues by ensuring all Reservations & Royal Service Agents are knowledgeable in room product and hotel services.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
  • Work towards improving and maintaining Voice of Guest, LQA and Forbes scores on a monthly basis.
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role required.
  • Previous experience with a Property Management system required.
  • Strong telephone speaking skills.
  • Proven ability to guide and coach team members.
  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal communication skills.
