This position is part of a grant-supported initiative designed to provide recent post-secondary graduates— ONLY females under 30 years of age (Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents)—with valuable professional experience in operations and logistics.

We specialize in delivering innovative products across multiple industries, including beauty, wellness, and natural products. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Operations to oversee logistics, supply chain coordination, and administrative tasks.

Job Description: Assistant Manager - Operations

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Logistics Oversight: Oversee daily logistics and supply chain management, ensuring timely product delivery by coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
  2. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to maintain seamless operations.
  3. Order Processing: Receive and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  4. Invoice Tracking: Issue and track sales transaction invoices while maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
  5. Administrative Support: Support the sales department with administrative tasks, including document management, data entry, and preparing reports.
  6. Inventory Management: Request parts and supplies from internal and external sources and maintain appropriate inventory levels (min/max).
  7. Periodic Inventory Counts: Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile stockroom items to ensure proper identification and re-supply needs.
  8. Customer Service: Provide superior customer service in person and over the phone, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  9. Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating local events, as required.
  10. Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls and welcoming visitors.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
  2. Prior experience in sales support, supply chain, or office management is preferred.
  3. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Ability to draft professional emails and handle various administrative tasks efficiently.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Valid driver’s license is required.
  7. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Company: Swift Innovations Inc.

Pay: $35,000 to $45,000 per year

Schedule: 5 days a week, with weekend work as needed

Licence/Certification: Driver's license (required)

Work Location: In person
