As an Assistant Manager of the Kelowna Service Location, you will play an essential role in supporting the growth and performance of one of BCAA's dynamic business lines. Customer-driven and flexible, you'll inspire your team to achieve departmental objectives and foster positive brand impressions and long-lasting relationships.

During a typical day, you will :

  • Guide and support your team to achieve member goals while leveraging your insurance product expertise.
  • Lead financial growth and productivity through acquisition and retention of new business.
  • Analyze business requirements, productivity, and workflows to optimize staffing levels.
  • Develop action plans to uphold audit and underwriting standards, minimizing risk and errors.
  • Implement disciplined risk management practices through ongoing document review.
  • Maintain knowledge of all BCAA Membership and insurance manuals, standards, and policies.

What you bring :

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing or business, with a minimum of four years' insurance experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory or management experience in a financial or sales environment (or equivalent education and experience).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • A limited history of Errors & Omissions and a solid understanding of BCAA's business.
  • Comfortable using technology, including MS Office.

The salary range for this position is $76,030 to $90,000, determined by knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand, and internal equity. In addition to base salary and benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus of 12.5%, up to 20%.
