Job Description

  • Must have thorough working knowledge of F&B Service & Front Office operations, including F&B, front desk, reception/cashiering procedures, and reservations.
  • Must understand the functions of each hotel department, physical layouts, key personnel roles, daily operations, special events, and upcoming conventions and groups.
  • Assist in training all F&B/Front Office employees.
  • Attend and oversee daily front office operations as part of the team.
  • Handle credit issues effectively.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Guest Service Manager.
  • Help the Director of Guest Services develop new procedures to enhance guest service.
  • Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
  • Lead by example in attending to guest requests, striving for total customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively ensure positive interactions with internal and external customers; consult your Manager if issues arise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to meet departmental and hotel goals.
  • Respect and be sensitive to customers and colleagues from all cultural backgrounds.
  • Actively promote hotel facilities and special promotions to guests.

Qualifications

BHM degree with 3 years of experience as a Team Leader or 1 year as an Assistant Guest Service Manager (AMGS).
