Job summary

Subway® Team Member/Assistant Manager role in Niagara Region, Canada focuses on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, staff scheduling, and safety. Supervisory duties include leading a 4–12 person team, planning events, and coordinating training for promotions.

You will assist with ordering, inventory, and daily operations while upholding restaurant standards and ensuring excellent customer service across shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
