Job Description

We are looking to hire a supervisor at our Tim Horton's location at Fleming College.

As an Assistant Manager, you are a critical part of our restaurant leadership team. You will work with management to provide direction and training on every shift to exceed customer expectations. Your responsibilities include assisting in the execution of daily operations activities.

The basic responsibilities of the Assistant Manager include overseeing daily operations, providing excellent customer service, and leading in a team-oriented environment. The position is Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities
  • Control production costs, supply costs, and inventory by adhering to operational standards.
  • Regularly audit service quality.
  • Follow all standards and tracking procedures daily.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
  • Supervise teamwork and service consistently.
  • Handle employee issues professionally, adhering to company policies.
  • Support and implement training programs to develop skills, improve morale, and grow revenue.
  • Assist in employee reviews and manage performance issues.
  • Ensure accurate adherence to time and attendance procedures.
  • Train and monitor food safety procedures among team members.
  • Conduct walk-throughs to ensure readiness for opening, closing, or rush periods.
  • Collaborate with management to train, develop, and communicate effectively with team members to maximize retention.
  • Delegate operational tasks and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Work with management to meet quality, production, and service standards, creating a safe and professional environment.
  • Maintain proper staffing schedules to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Follow up on and resolve guest-related issues as needed.

Qualifications
  • Proven supervisory experience in food service.
  • Previous Tim Horton's experience preferred.
  • Strong management and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in POS systems.
  • Knowledge of food handling and restaurant management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Availability for flexible schedules.
  • Guest service-oriented with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.

This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.

Education & Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
