From gourmet meals at the Silver Swan Dining Room to craft cocktails at Corks Wine Bar and blockbuster nights in our private tiered Movie Theatre — Lakeside Manor offers an experience unlike anywhere else.

We are inviting YOU to become part of it as an Assistant Manager! Your responsibilities include supporting restaurant services, assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating staffing, and managing day-to-day operations.

You will also support resident suite sales—conducting tours, completing move-in paperwork, and working toward monthly sales goals. Additionally, you’ll oversee front-of-house dining staff, support communication between the kitchen and dining room, and uphold service standards.

Compensation: $65,000.00 annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Leadership & Resident Support: Support overall growth and daily operations of the community, including dining, staffing, resident satisfaction, and budget management. Establish and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Respond promptly to emergency calls and ensure continuous operation, stepping in when necessary.
  • Dining Services Management: Lead the dining services team, coordinate daily operations, work with the General Manager and Chef for events and meal service, gather feedback, and manage front-of-house staff performance.
  • Scheduling & Staffing Support: Manage staff scheduling, verify staffing needs, maintain schedules and leave requests, build relationships with casual staff, and maintain up-to-date seniority lists.
  • Operations & Administration: Monitor and report staff attendance, support service planning, implement new policies, and support OSH committee as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Serving it Right and Food Safe - Level I certifications preferred.
  • Experience in senior living environment, staff training, performance management, with ideally two years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience supervising fine dining or full-service retirement environments preferred.
