At Enbridge, our Assistant III Locates role analyzes, assigns, and completes locate requests for Storage and Transmission Operations (STO) plant assets. Assign and schedule locates working with people leaders within the various STO departments. It also coordinates appropriate action with respect to Aerial Patrol reports.

What You Will Do
- Determine if the locate request can be cleared or must be followed up in the field.
- Check and ensure the accuracy of maps and the location of planned work in proximity to STO assets.
- Coordinate with STO Engineering to determine the validity of crossing agreements.
- Initiate work order requests to perform physical locates of plant for STO Field teams, 3rd Party Contractors, etc.
- Review locates, notify affected groups and the originator of findings, and follow up requirements.
- Complete file and notify Ontario one call.
- Receive Aerial Patrol reports and initiate appropriate follow-up as required by the observation.
- Update observation records and file appropriately.
- Assemble documents for the work package to complete the field locate, observation, or oversight as determined.
- Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of locate files and the associated documents.
- Responsible for the correct identification of STO buried assets, and the prevention of inadvertent contact with transmission pipelines and other buried assets.
Who You Are
Required:
- Proficient with computer programs: IRTH, Maximo, SAP, GIS, Excel, Word, Google Earth.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand maps.
- Ability to read maps and compare to aerial photographs, satellite imagery, and existing prints/documents.
Preferred
Working Conditions
Office based, Dawn Administration, computer with dual display monitors, ergonomic workstation sit/stand functionality.
