Description

We are hiring an Assistant Housekeeping Manager!

As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you directly oversee housekeeping, laundry, and house person team members. You are a key part of the property's management team and work closely with the Front Desk and Maintenance Departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. You take full responsibility for the property's cleanliness, from guest rooms to public areas. You collaborate with your team and other departments to meet high standards of cleanliness and productivity, ensure everything is in proper working order, and enhance guest service levels.

As a manager, you model the behaviors and actions expected from your team. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, professionalism, passion for training, ability to drive productivity, and capacity to anticipate the needs of your team and guests while remaining calm and focused during busy periods are critical.

You serve as a coach and mentor to your team, holding them accountable for their results. You are responsible for the entire housekeeping department, including onboarding, training, leadership, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning. You support your team’s development while meeting guest needs and achieving company goals.

Ideal candidates:

  • Experience in a leadership role in hotels, hospitals, or multi-unit housing as a Housekeeping or Cleaning Supervisor with great care and attention to detail to ensure quality.
  • Good communication skills, outgoing, friendly, and able to speak professionally with guests, managers, and colleagues.
  • You take pride in your work.
  • You enjoy leading others to success.
  • You are actively engaged and passionate about your workplace.
  • You work with professionalism and integrity.
