As a Store Assistant Manager, you will be at the forefront of the brand for growing families. You will welcome new parents and grandparents, introduce them to our essential baby items, help them prepare for the first day of school, and all the little and big moments of their parenting day. We are looking for a manager who fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment, values and optimizes skills and talents, and continuously educates themselves and their team on product types, features, and benefits.

What You Will Do :

  • Implement workforce management to ensure true customer attention on the sales floor.
  • Welcome customers with a warm greeting. Provide assistance regarding our great styles of products, features, and benefits.
  • Nurture a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
  • Consistently model service standards and the omnichannel experience while training others for success.
  • Effectively analyze business and take necessary actions to improve results by communicating and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) with the team.
  • Assist the Store Manager in building and retaining a successful team by participating in recruitment, hiring, training, and team development.
  • Recognize exceptional performance and redirect employees as needed.
  • Plan, track, analyze, and report task completion and financial results using company tools.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to plan and implement merchandising standards, promotional planning, markdown implementation, and product placement.
  • Build customer loyalty through company-sponsored programs.
  • Reduce loss through consistent customer service, education, and operational controls.

  • Lift 40 lbs (18.1 kg) as needed, with many opportunities to bend, stoop, stretch, push, and pull.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods. Climb up and down a ladder.
  • Be available on schedules that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays with a minimum of two closing shifts per week.
