Job summary

GoodLife Fitness is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a sales team and deliver an exceptional member experience in Peterborough, Ontario. You will train, coach, and develop staff while owning the new member experience and contributing to club success.

You will support day-to-day operations, motivate a diverse team, and drive sales and fitness outcomes. A base salary with potential bonuses aligns with performance and tenure.

The Assistant General Manager plays a key role in providing an exceptional employee and member experience. You are responsible for training, coaching and ongoing development of a team of sales associates. You have complete ownership of the new member experience. What will you be doing?

• Onboarding and ongoing development of a team of employees responsible for assisting new and current members toward achieving their health and fitness goals
• Educating your team on sales, relationship building to drive new memberships and contribute to the financial health of the company
• Support the General Manager in day-to-day oversight and management of the Club

• Previous sales experience is an asset

Compensation:

It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $47,000. This position is eligible for bonuses and commissions in addition to the base salary. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $47,000 - $70,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
