We’re looking for an Assistant Gas Bar Manager at our Timberlands Gas Bar in Red Deer to help oversee daily operations, support our team, and ensure a safe, positive experience for customers. Position:

Assistant Gas Bar Manager

Full-time:

40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability:

Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a friendly and co-operative attitude in the workplace each day
  2. Oversee the operation and administration of the gas bar in the manager's absence
  3. Manage the procurement of merchandise within the gas bar
  4. Ensure the receiving and handling of merchandise meets Central Alberta Co-op policies, procedures and standards
  5. Provide leadership in the areas of loss prevention and health & safety
  6. Contribute to a positive customer experience, ensuring products and service provided aligns with the expectations of external and internal customers
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
  1. Grade 12 or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  2. Three (3) years retail supervisory experience
  3. Business related education would be an asset
  4. Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.)
