Job summary

Skill Up Training Canada is seeking motivated Assistant Soccer/Futsal Coaches to support the Head Coach and help deliver high-quality sessions for players of various ages and skill levels. This is a part-time role with scheduling that includes evenings and weekends.

Coaches will access up to 20 hours per week, with progression opportunities within a structured development system from Assistant to Lead Coach over time. The program emphasizes positive development and safety.

Qualifications

Strong technical understanding of soccer/futsal fundamentals.
Experience as a futsal or soccer player; coaching experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to demonstrate techniques and drills effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and youth.
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow as a coach.
Coaching certification is considered an asset, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting futsal training sessions for groups of players.
Support the implementation of training programs designed by the Head Coach.
Provide constructive feedback to players to improve technical skills and understanding.
Help set up and organize equipment before and after sessions.
Foster a positive, respectful training environment that promotes development and teamwork.
Ensure a safe environment by following organizational policies.
