Schedule: Monday to Friday

Position: Assistant Food Service Manager

The Assistant Food Service Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of a single unit, including ensuring tasks are completed, staff scheduling, cost control, issue resolution, and people management.

As an Assistant Food Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily operations alongside the Manager by delegating tasks and guiding staff to ensure service and production standards are met
  • Coordinating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
  • Controlling costs to adhere to the budget
  • Addressing requests, complaints, and concerns
  • Monitoring compliance with Quality Assurance and Health & Safety policies, and implementing corrective actions when necessary
  • Managing, coaching, and developing staff to meet team goals

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Possess a college diploma in hospitality or food service, or equivalent experience
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in food service or hospitality
  • Have experience in managing, supervising, coaching, and developing teams
  • Exhibit strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Have basic financial and budgeting skills
  • Possess solid written and verbal communication skills in French
  • Demonstrate organizational, time management, and leadership skills
