What will you do in this job?
  • Supervise staff and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Continuously improve guest and employee experiences to create the "WOW" factor.
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure food quality aligns with guidelines set by Food and Beverage Manager & Executive Chef.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and managing staff daily.
  • Implement service standards, procedures, and guest communication protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in Food & Beverage areas.
  • Oversee food storage, safety compliance, and health codes.
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain stock levels.
  • Keep employee records, ensuring food safety certifications are current.
  • Contribute to revenue and profit targets.
  • Build a positive, high-functioning team.
  • Refine standards based on guest feedback and needs.
  • Train the team to view Farm + Fire from a guest’s perspective.
  • Demonstrate positive body language and communication.
  • Prepare daily reports on promotions, guest satisfaction, and feedback.
  • Support all hotel areas, emphasizing "one guest – one experience".
What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • Over 5 years of experience in food and beverage.
  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality with a focus on Food and Beverage (asset).
  • Experience building relationships and working across organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards on and off the floor.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to uphold service standards.
  • Leadership skills to foster team building and positive guest experiences.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Calm, consistent, and positive leadership style.
  • Must consent to a criminal record check to uphold our commitment to honesty.
