Job description

A leading Real Estate Investment and Asset Management firm is seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious Assistant Finance Manager to join its Dublin-based team. This is a unique opportunity to work across a growing PRS (Private Rented Sector) fund platform and gain hands-on experience in fund and asset finance.

You'll work closely with senior management and a small, high-performing finance team, supporting a portfolio of residential assets and playing a key role in both operational and strategic financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of operational and financial reports across various properties.
  • Coordinate with property managers and third-party service providers.
  • Support annual business plan preparation and investor reporting.
  • Manage cashflow, operating payments and working capital balances.
  • Support bank reporting and financial covenant testing.
  • Assist with VAT and other tax filings, as required.
  • Help coordinate statutory reporting and manage the audit process.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc project work, including acquisition/disposal analysis and tax structuring.

Relevant Skills:

  • ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent recognised accounting qualification.
  • 1–3 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally in real estate investment or financial services.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting treatment.
  • Interest in ESG and sustainability in investment management is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Advanced Excel and strong technical accounting skills.
