I'm looking for an Assistant Financial Director for my client, a public company. This is a permanent hybrid position in Contrecoeur.

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Working closely with the Finance and Administration departments, the successful candidate will manage the finance team under his/her responsibility on a day-to-day basis. He/she will also support and advise his/her superior. Finally, he/she will be responsible for procurement in collaboration with all City departments.
  • Treasury:
  • Coordinate, support, supervise and review the work of the staff under her responsibility, i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll;
  • Assist the Finance and Administrative Services Department with year-end and annual budgets, including annual operating and capital budgets;
  • Prepare, update, and ensure the application of various regulations, policies, and resolutions;
  • Prepare various financial reports and summaries;
  • Support the various departments in their financial matters.
