Summerland Waterfront Resort is seeking a professional, people-first leader to join our team as Assistant Executive Housekeeper. This is not a cleaning job; it is a leadership opportunity for someone who wants to grow in hotel operations, build a career in the South Okanagan, and be part of a supportive, high-performing team.

You will coordinate a busy housekeeping department and help ensure our rooms and common areas go beyond clean and reach a standard of pristine. We are looking for someone who brings a calm, steady presence, strong organizational skills, and natural leadership. You will step in to supervise the team when the Executive Housekeeper is away, support staff development, and help the department run like a well-oiled machine.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Supervise daily operations of the housekeeping department, including room attendants, housepersons, and laundry
  • Conduct room inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of staff
  • Assist with scheduling and labor management
  • Step into leadership role when Executive Housekeeper is away
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support seamless guest experiences
